Short version: we use your details to answer your enquiry and look after your stay. We do not sell them, and we do not send marketing you did not ask for.

When you enquire. Your name, phone number, email address, the dates and unit you asked about, and anything you write in the message box. We also record how you found the site — for example a Google search or a link from Facebook — so we know which of our efforts are worth continuing.
When you simply visit. Anonymous statistics: pages viewed, roughly where in the world you are, and how quickly the pages loaded. This is not tied to you personally.
To reply to you, to hold and confirm your booking, and to be able to reach you if something changes about your stay. The visit statistics are only used to see whether the website is working and worth keeping.

We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not pass it on for anyone else’s advertising.
Google Analytics places a cookie to tell repeat visits apart. Nothing else here does. If you would rather not be counted, your browser’s “do not track” setting, private browsing, or any ad blocker will stop it, and the site will work exactly the same.
Enquiries and booking records are kept while you are a guest and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that we can answer questions about a past stay and meet our tax and accounting obligations. Visit statistics are kept in aggregate only.
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act you may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just write to us and we will sort it out. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
